Important notice: the package requires OR NewYear MG 104 or later to work.
The package includes everything needed to operate the ETR400 105, contained in B_FS_ETR400_Pack, with the Cruise Control functionality, as well as with the TCSs already managed in the base pack (SCMT / RSC and ETCS2)

Files to download
------------------

Before installing this package, you need to have downloaded and installed the following file (base package):
 B_FS_ETR400_Pack, from http://www.trainsimhobby.net/infusions/pro_download_panel/download.php?did=1980

Unpack the present package in folder TRAINS.

Package Contents
-----------------------

The package contains consist ETR400_05_CC, which, apart the added Cruise Control functionality, is completely identical to the ETR400_05 included in the base package, and all the additional files, not present in the base package, necessary for the consist operation.

For the use of the TCSs please refer to the documentation files of the basic package.
Please note also that, if you want to use the trainset without the TCS functionality, you simply have to check the General Option "Disable TCS script" and to uncheck the General Option "Alerter in Cab."
Note that, to obtain compatibility with the official version of OR, now the master key command is no longer Ctrl-K, but the Enter key (the train also works with the official testing release of OR, Cruise control apart of course).

Cruise Control operating mode
----------------------------------------

In the ETR400 cabin there is, on the left, the LV (speed lever), which has the positions + (increases the set speed in steps of 5 km / h), N (neutral), - (decreases the set speed in steps of 5 km / h) and 0 (brings the set speed to 0). The + and - positions are unstable: when released, the lever returns to position N.
The LCA lever (automatic torque/force lever) is practically the "throttle" part of the combined control (lever to the right of the LV). In other words, when the set speed is different from zero, the "throttle" part works as LCA (automatic operation), while when the set speed is equal to zero, the "throttle" part works as throttle (manual operation). To switch from one mode to another, the combined control must also be in the central position. The easiest way to "center" the center position when in the "throttle" part is to press Ctrl-A.

The commands can be given either by mouse or by keyboard. The most important keyboard commands of interest are:
Ctrl + Shift + D Increases the maximum force allowed for the CC
Ctrl + Shift + A Decreases the maximum force allowed for the CC
Shift + D Increase the Vmax (set speed) for the CC
Shift + A Decreases the Vmax (set speed) for the CC

In order to correctly manage the train brake line, remember that after an intervention of the train brake, the LCA lever must be in the zero position before being able to give traction again.

Note that below 30 km / h the electric brake is not activated. This means that in acceleration from 0 to 30 km / h you can use the CC, while in braking you must necessarily use the train brake.
